House Appropriations Committee Introduces CR Through November 18

September 15, 2011

Last night the House Appropriations Committee introduced a Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep the government operating past the end of the fiscal year on September 30 and through November 18, 2011. This CR would

  • Limit all federal agencies to spending capped at FY 11 rate minus 1.4%
  • Restrict agencies from making any major funding commitments that would reduce Congressional discretion to later cut an agency budget

The CR contains no specific references to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
