Consumer Confidence in Food Safety
A report from the Food Marketing Institute states that 88% of U.S. consumers are “completely” or “somewhat” confident in the safety of food they find in their supermarket today. However, only 28% of those consumers state that government agencies such as the FDA are responsible for the safety of the U.S. food supply.
