FY 2012 House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee Mark Up on Tuesday May 24. The mark up is slated for 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in 2362 Rayburn. The Alliance will likely have a good idea of FDA’s number on Monday and will forward relevant information and analysis to the Alliance Membership as we receive it.
Pew Poll: Voters nationwide support funding to carry out the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act. Among likely voters surveyed across the nation, about two out of three support additional funding for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to carry out new responsibilities related to the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, according to Pew-commissioned polls released today by the bipartisan team of Hart Research and American Viewpoint. Congressional Meetings. The Alliance continued to hold meetings this week with staff of members of the Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittees. Next week the Alliance is scheduled to meet with Congressman Sam Farr (D-CA), ranking member of the Agriculture Appropriations subcommittee.
