  • Representative Eshoo Introduces User Fee Sequester Legislation. Yesterday, Representatives Anna Eshoo (D, CA), Leonard Lance (R, NJ), Doris Matsui (D, CA), and Mike Rogers (R, MI) introduced the FDA Safety Over Sequestration Act, or FDA SOS Act. The purpose is to exempt industry user fees paid to FDA from sequestration in FY 14 and thereafter. More on the bill is available here. Note that it does not address the status of the $85 million in user fees sequestered in FY 13.
