- "FDA urges more collaboration on imported goods" is an unattributed Associated Press article about the FDA's "Pathway to Global Product Safety and Quality" report that appeared on the Boston.com web site of The Boston Globe on June 21.
- "New round of spending bills could revive detailed demands on agencies" is an article in Congressional Quarterly that is only available to subscribers to CQ.com or the print version.
- "Last-minute allocation of $44M keeps White Oak project on schedule" is an article by Jeanette Der Bedrosian dated June 22 on the Gazette.Net web site dealing with the planned consolidation of the FDA's currently widespread offices at the White Oak campus in Silver Spring.
- "Managing risk in booming ‘global bazaar’ of food and drugs" is an another article by Andrew Revkin about the FDA's "Pathway to Global Product Safety and Quality" report that appeared in in The Opinion Pages of The New York Times on June 20.
- "An overwhelmed FDA is a danger to us all" is a statement dated June 21 from the American Council on Science and Health related to the increasing pressures on the FDA in a time of budgetary constraints.
- "Obama to meet with key lawmakers on debt reduction" is an article by Felicia Sonmez, Zachary A. Goldfarb and Lori Montgomery published today on the web site of The Washington Post.
